Paddock Road is the oldest of Watford’s allotments, set up in March 1889, the allotment has stunning views over Attenborough’s Fields and Merry Hill, it also borders the Victorian ‘Reservoir’ with its attractive grass covered slopes. Set in a block that stretches from Bushey High Street to Harrow Weald common, Paddock Road allotment has three ponds, a community orchard, beehives, a hazel coppice and over 140 plots.
